Specializing in supporting adults dealing with mental health challenges, Lorra's career highlights a commitment to making a difference.

Having personally undergone a fertility journey and sought individual therapy during the process, Lorra deeply empathizes with the multifaceted nature of fertility struggles. Recognizing the emotional, mental, physical, financial, and relational toll it can take, Lorra firmly believes in the power of shared support during such trying times. Approachable and compassionate, Lorra's main objective is to empower clients, helping them unearth their inner resilience and confront life's obstacles.

  • Attending therapy can be beneficial for a variety of reasons, as it provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to address their emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Common reasons people attend therapy: stress and coping, emotional regulation, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD, personal growth, grief or loss, life transitions, and self-esteem/self-confidence.

  • The number of therapy sessions a person may need varies widely and depends on several factors, including the individual's specific goals, the nature and severity of their concerns, the therapeutic approach used, and their progress in therapy. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as therapy is a highly individualized process. Here are some factors to consider: Type of Issue, Severity, Goals, Frequency of sessions, Therapeutic relationship, Life circumstances. It's essential to discuss your expectations and goals with your therapist early in the process. They can provide you with an estimate of the likely duration of therapy based on your specific situation. Keep in mind that therapy is a dynamic process, and the number of sessions needed can change as therapy progresses.Additionally, some people choose to continue therapy even after their initial goals have been met as a form of ongoing support, personal growth, or preventative care. Ultimately, the decision regarding the length of therapy should be made collaboratively between you and your therapist, and it should be based on your evolving needs and progress.
